You Win!
Psalm 119:143 (NLT) As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands.
Where do you find peace in the midst of trouble? Worry, fear and doubt may start out as a distraction, but they will fight for your full attention and devotion.
It's sad to say, but the path to comfort, peace and victory is not a very crowded one. There are so many crossroads along the way. Some paved with addictions and others with depression, self-mutilation or simply seeking help from anyone or anything but Christ. Others find temporary comfort from the encouragement of friends. That's a good thing, we need to encourage one another, but the type of encouragement that's truly effective is the one that points you to Jesus and the power of the written Word. Anything less is temporary and will lead to disappointment.
As you come to Christ with a sincere heart, seeking His will amid your problems, He will comfort and lead you in the direction you need to go. There's no issue that's too big for Him to handle and it certainly won't catch Him by surprise. He had a way of escape planned before the trial ever began.
The key to victory is faith and that can only be apprehended by reading your Bible and learning scriptures that pertain to your particular situation. The scripture you need is guaranteed to be in His Word. There's nothing new under the sun. Every attack of the enemy has been experienced before and there's a scripture written for your counterattack. The war you're in has already been won... the shed blood of Jesus has sealed the deal and there's no longer a price to be paid! All authority has been given to you, you just need to know it and exercise it! That will happen as you study His Word, walk it out by faith and use it in your personal battle plan. Jesus used scriptures to defeat the enemy. It's your spiritual sword, don't underestimate its power!
Yes, life is filled with battles, but you can face them with confidence when you realize you're on the winning side!
Ephesians 6:17 (NLT) Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
Ecclesiastes 1:9 (NLT) History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new.
Romans 10:17 (NKJV) So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Matthew 10:1 (NLT) Jesus called His twelve disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness.
