The Habitation of God Part 2

Ephesians 2:22 (KJV) In whom ye also are builded together for a habitation of God through the Spirit.

In Part 1, I touched on our faith to believe for our own healing and victory. But there's so much more that was paid for through the sacrifice of Christ. In John 14:12, Jesus says that if we believe in Him, we will do even greater things than He did! Excuse me!? Didn't He heal the sick, deliver those that were tormented by demons, bring divine multiplications, and raise the dead!? 

We haven't begun to scratch the surface of what it means to be the habitation of God!! His Spirit was not placed in us just to meet our own selfish needs and desires...Oh, He definitely wants to take care of His Children. He said that He wants us to prosper and be in health, even as our souls prosper. Take note that the first priority is always the condition of our soul! But the price that was paid both on the cross and by Christ Stripes was not limited to only our own welfare. We are to be a channel of His power and authority to the hurting and broken world around us! We must see past our own four walls into the pain of others and by His love, become vessels of His glory and might!

Stop living just to fulfill your own desires and agenda. Slow down and look around. Who does Jesus want to touch today through you? Remember... He abides within you, and you are a part of His body. Allow Him to have His way in you to fulfill His desire through you! I say this often, but here's another reminder... It's not all about you! His power isn't limited to your salvation and blessings. By His Spirit and anointing, there's a big world that He desires to touch and change, and He'll use you to do it if you surrender your life to Him and make seeking Him through His Word and abiding in His presence priority! 

Yes!! YOU are the habitation of God! His holy and immovable temple, filled with glory, power, and might!!! See what His Word says you are capable of then slay the demonic forces from hell that are determined to destroy those we come in contact with! Be the channel God uses to heal the sick and set the captives free!!! Remember, it's not by might nor by power but only by His Spirit which is in you!!! 

John 14:12-14 (NKJV) “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

3 John 1:2 (KJV) Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Zechariah 4:6 (KJV) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Luke 10:19 (KJV) Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Matthew 10:1 (KJV) And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

1 Corinthians 3:16 (KJV) Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1 Corinthians 12:27 (NKJV) Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
