The Habitation of God Part 1

Ephesians 2:22 (KJV) In whom ye also are builded together for a habitation of God through the Spirit.

Galatians 2:20 (KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

1 John 4:4 (KJV) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Excuse me! What!?? Yeah, we've heard that the Spirit of God is within us at the point of Salvation, but have you ever really thought about it? The greatest power of the universe... the One that created all living things, is living within YOU! We are called the habitation of God! His holy temple that He abides in!! We sing songs and pray prayers asking His Spirit to come down and touch us when all the while He's right here abiding within His body... the Body of Christ! 

We need to realize that when affliction comes upon us, the enemy is trespassing! Along with the abiding presence of the Lord, we were given supernatural power and authority over all the power of the enemy including sicknesses and diseases! He paid the price for all of it on the cross and by His stripes we are healed! Not will be... we ARE! We don't have to beg for it... we just need to understand that it already belongs to us... and we must fight the fight of faith from that position. We are victorious and overcomers! God never said we wouldn't have trials, and that affliction would not come against us, but He did give us the power and authority to win the battle! Watch your words, there's such power in them! Pray and declare God's Word and trust Him with the outcome! Worship Him through the process, trusting that He does fulfill His promises! Never allow your circumstances to become your focus. Jesus must always be the center of your attention!

The last word isn't what the medical report is telling you or what you're feeling... the last Word is what your owner's manual says about you and your situation! Trust Him even against all opposition! Then worship Him to victory!!

Luke 9:1-2 (KJV) Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Luke 10:19 (KJV) Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Matthew 10:1 (KJV) And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

1 Corinthians 3:16 (KJV) Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1 Corinthians 12:27 (NKJV) Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

Isaiah 53:5 (KJV) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
