Spiritual Transformation
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV) But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
I'm afraid many people don't have the right idea about the Secret Place. As I spoke to a lady today about my upcoming class, The Passionate Pursuit, it seemed that her idea on the subject was that this was just religious fluff. As if seeking Jesus was nothing more than a selfish, feel-good experience!
The subject of Intimacy with Jesus and the study of God's Word is the foundation to our Christian walk and effectiveness for God's Kingdom. I have absolutely nothing to offer anyone unless I'm first filled by the Fountain of Life. Then and only then does the river of His Spirit overflow unto others.
We must understand that our joy, peace, fulfillment, and anointing directly correlates with the price paid on our knees, worshiping, praying, and studying His Word! There's no other source of growth and our full Spiritual potential will not be discovered until we make some sacrifices to produce the time needed to effectively press into the deepest depths of His Glory!
First and foremost, we seek Him out of a heart to minister to Him and bless Him, but we fully expect change to follow. As we draw close enough, His whispers become crisp and clear and what seemed cloudy is now visible, His will undeniable.
Do you want to touch the heart of God? Do you desire to hear His voice and do His will, filled with His extraordinary power, mercy, and love? Do you want to be used to see lives changed, the broken restored, the sick healed, the lost saved, those that are oppressed delivered and set free? Spend time seeking Him and allow His image to transform yours!
James 36:7-9 (NKJV) How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore, the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.
Psalms 46:4 (TPT) God has a constantly flowing river whose sparkling streams bring joy and delight to his people. His river flows right through the city of God Most High, into his holy dwelling places.
John 14:12-13 (NKJV) Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
