Pleasing the Lord

Galatians 1:10 (TPT) I’m obviously not trying to flatter you or water down my message to be popular with men, but my supreme passion is to please God. For if all I attempt to do is please people, I would fail to be a true servant of Christ. I am so grateful to the Lord for teaching me how to follow Him and His ways rather than being pulled around by my flesh and emotions. He is so worthy of all the praise I can give Him. There are times we have to make decisions that other people will never understand but we know in our spirit it's the right thing to do. Most of the time we have more information about something than others and they have no clue why were are making the decisions we do, this can cause many to gossip, point blame, cause strife and division and more problems because they aren't in the same position as us. I recall being verbally attacked by someone that was upset with me because I didn't follow their immediate recommendation to help someone in the way they thought was best. Sadly, there is a lot of information they just didn't know and no amount of time explaining a situation would have helped. We don't have to answer to people for our decisions. We are responsible to God. When people mistreat you they will have to answer to God for it but you will answer for how you respond! I have so much conviction about the short amount of time we have left on the earth and that means we don't have time to waste on people that continue choosing to circle the same mountain and never truly desire change. There are over 8 billion people on the planet and I'm responsible to sharing the Gospel to as many as possible and bringing many with me to Heaven. Do not let the enemy or any person get in the way of your calling. Distractions will become greater as the Day draws nearer but stand firm! Be planted on solid ground, know who you are in Christ and serve the Lord with passion and serve people with compassion. You are chosen to be here for such a time as this, don't waste years in bitterness and depression because someone is mad at you. Apologize if needed, cast your cares and move forward! Psalm 55:22 (TPT) So here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord, and measureless grace will strengthen you.
