Overflowing Love
1 Thessalonians 3:12 (NLT) And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.
The love Jesus has for people cost Him his life. Scripture says God is love, this is the same love that caused Jesus to say yes to the cross. What an amazing sacrifice He made on our behalf! As we become deeply rooted in Him, we will begin to love others even greater, until it overflows. People are the most precious of God’s creation. Every day, we wake up to serve God by helping others and showing them His amazing love.
1 Corinthians 15:58 (TPT) So now, beloved ones, stand firm, stable, and enduring. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.
I am so thankful to have been hand picked by God to be alive during such a time as this when God’s love is needed the most in our world. Our love for others should overflow and I'm believing that God will continue to pour out so much blessing that you cannot contain it. Remember to serve others in an excellent way and overflow in your love for them. As you serve Him, you shall prosper in every season! Isn't that amazing?! It doesn't matter what the world is doing, if you serve God and not the world, He will bless you and take great care of you. It's out of this amazing love that we flow and work with the Holy Spirit for the Father's will to be done on the earth as it is in Heaven.
Matthew 24:46-47 What joy and blessing will come to that faithful servant when the master comes home to find him serving with excellence! I can promise you, the master will raise him up and put him in charge of all that he owns.
Do everything in excellence and love. You will find a joy as you go about doing chores, yes the dreaded, never-ending list of chores can become a joyful time in praise; as you do it unto the Lord. Thank God for having the appliances in your home to assist you with laundry and dishes etc. Thank God you have the money to buy clothes and food. Take nothing for granted. We can all agree the world we live in isn't what it used to be and this isn't our home. Heaven is our home. We are just on a long layover, and while we are waiting for our flight we need to share the Good News with everyone. Be a blessing everywhere you go, this will come from that intimacy with Jesus. Overflow in love, overflow.
