Invest in Your Future

Proverbs 21:5 (TPT) Brilliant ideas pay off and bring you prosperity, but making hasty, impatient decisions will only lead to financial loss. As this year is quickly coming to a close I want to ask you, what do you anticipate for your family in 2025? How will you do things differently than 2024? What prayers will you decree over your loved ones and your ministry? Do you set goals regularly? Or do you feel like it's a waste of time? How do you invest your time? Is it spent scrolling through short videos or on your knees in prayer? No matter what date is on the calendar, it's wise to make a plan. It's also just as wise to scrap all plans if God directs you to do something off script. Set some obtainable goals and set some far-reaching, God-sized goals! The kind that you cannot achieve on your own. Some of my simple goals are some DIY home projects, some are ministry related, some family related, but I love making a list and then seeing how God uses it that year and if I don't get them done then I carry them over into the following year. May I encourage you again, in all you do be led by the Holy Spirit! Do not be led by your feelings, they tend to change based on varying circumstances including the weather! (one of the top excuses we hear why people don't attend church service) We need to understand why we feel certain ways but let's not make big decisions on a temporary feeling. Make wise decisions that fall in line with what God wants and allow Him to direct you.

Pray about what God wants you to accomplish this year for His glory! Ask for visions and dreams, write down everything He shows you. Pray for brilliant ideas that will help fund the Kingdom! Ask for God to send wise counsel to you and help you along the way. Be a blessing to others and praise God every opportunity you get. In the morning, in the noontime and the evening. Even at the midnight hour, when you awake, praise the Lord! He is worthy, He is worthy! Proverbs 16:3 (NKJV) Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established. Habakkuk 2:1-4 (KVJ) I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
