He Knows What's Best

Romans 8:28 (TPT) So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.

As I'm sharing my heart with the Lord, I find myself very thankful for everything He's done in my life. He's always known what's best!

Though there were times I would have disagreed, with all the anger and yelling in my childhood, my parents were to become lovers of Jesus and my mother, a powerhouse for God's Kingdom! He knew what was best.

He knew the husband that was perfect for me and though our start was painful and complicated, by His Spirit, it was transformed into a thing of beauty! He knew what was best!

Even as I think of the abuse, I once suffered... He allowed something that seemed awful to cause anger, dissatisfaction, and depression, which ultimately led me to Jesus! All the pain was used to mold me into the woman I am today. He knew what was best!

The painful trials we suffered in our marriage, finances, our family, and health... they all brought us closer to Him, caused us to search His Word in desperation, and passionately seek Him! He knew what was best!

Having a backslidden son, who had been bullied as a child and then lived with such anger, taught us to fast, believe, and decree until He was brought to total surrender and became a minister of the Gospel... He knew what was best!

My jobs... some good, some bad... even 35 years working in one place... all a part of my story. He knew what was best!

Seasons of rejection, feeling lonely and broken... these were also the most amazing times of discovering the love of God and His healing power. Wholeness was found in His Word and presence... yes...He knew what was best!

Living where we now live, this new home, job, and friends... oh, the struggle of making this transition... but the blessings of His divine favor... He knew what was best!

Church... the current one, the one we spent thirty years in, my mother's inner-city ministry, and our son and daughter-in-law's... all taught us such valuable lessons and instilled such growth... we know we have been and currently are exactly where we are supposed to be! He knows what's best!

Spiritual encounters with His Glory. The divine touch of my master. Passionate hunger for His presence and the desire to minister about the Secret Place.... hours studying, worshipping, seeking, praising, desiring to bless the lover of my soul! It's who He made me to be... It's my passion and calling... He knew what was best for me all along!

Guess what... He knows what's best for you too. Going through some painful experiences and wondering if you're forgotten?? It's all a part of the wonderful path to your destiny! You've not been rejected. What's best doesn't always look or feel like we'd expect... I'm sure for many in the Bible the road to their destiny wasn't what they expected either. But it was the only path that would mold and shape them into the vessel God designed specifically for the purpose He had intended! Even your mistakes are woven into the tapestry of your life and as you repent, they can be used to help others! Wow!! What a God we serve! He always knows what's best! Trust Him!

Ephesians 2:10 (TPT) We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Psalm 9:10 (KJV) And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.
