Happy New Year!
So, here we are, it's a new year! 2025! I take this transition quite seriously. As I enter the presence of God, I praise Him for all that He's done, and I repent of the missed opportunities and every thought, motive, and action that has not brought Him glory in this past year. With each new year, I desire to shed more flesh and come up higher than the year before.
My desires for 2025? To be stronger, bolder, more fearless, to trust Him more, and to share His love like I never have before! To go deeper into His presence and to seek His face with more passion and fervor. To know the heart of the God, hear His voice, and follow His promptings. To be used in a greater capacity... way beyond my physical limitations. They certainly wouldn't get me very far. I don't want to lean upon my abilities but always on His strength. I want to allow Him to freely have His way in my life as He touches and changes others through this vessel. I want to partake in all that was paid for through the broken body of Jesus and His shed blood! I'm not taking the past attacks of the enemy with me into 2025! I'm thankful that every trial is bringing a testimony of God's power and goodness in my life and it will bring healing and deliverance to others!
Nothing we achieve spiritually comes from our own strengths or abilities. We can only be used to the degree that we are willing to lay down our lives and seek God, then move out of the way and allow Him to work His purpose in and through us.
So again, what's my desires for this new year? To seek Jesus with greater fervor, spend more time with Him and in His Word and be fully yielded to His will. To only write, teach and preach words that will bring glory to His name! There's nothing greater than living the life He's designed for us to live, right in the center of His will.
This year, put your agenda aside and find true fulfillment in time spent getting to know Jesus, developing that relationship, and finding the divine assignment He has created specifically for you! Enter 2025 fearlessly, because you are loved, desired, valuable, and necessary! His plans are great, get close enough to find out what they are then take your position, march in, and possess your promised land!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Numbers 13:30 (KJV) And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
Psalm 51:10-13 (NKJV) Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You.
Psalm 43:2-4 (MSG) “Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you. I’ve called your name. You’re mine. When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead end—Because I am God, your personal God, The Holy of Israel, your Savior. I paid a huge price for you: all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in! That’s how much you mean to me! That’s how much I love you! I’d sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the creation just for you."
