Challenges, Pain, & Disappointments

What are you facing? Life is filled with challenges, pain, and disappointments. These are all growth opportunities and launching pads for amazing testimonies of God's love, power, and goodness. The victory comes as we stop focusing on the problem and begin to focus on Jesus.

Pray about the situation, study scriptures that will build your faith, then trust... if you sincerely prayed and gave the situation to Him, stop worrying about it. Each time you do you're taking the issue back into your hands. Give it to Him and believe He's handling it and no power from hell will stop His will from coming to fruition in your life! Give up your own preconceived ideas and desires... His plans are so much greater! You must fully yield to His will... that's where your peace and fulfillment will be found anyway!

Confused, worried, not sure which way to turn? He has the power to close the doors that He wants closed and to open those that no man could shut! But this only happens by faith. I encourage you to build it up in the secret place as you get to know Him and become surrounded by His love... and let His Word be planted deep within your heart and soul. As the written Word is read and it's reinforced by the realization of the love of God, faith will be awakened, and no one will be able to convince you that His Word isn't true... you'll fully expect to see the fulfillment of it in every area of your life!

Praise Jesus in the storm, give Him your full attention and chase hard after Him... then watch what He will do!

Psalm 119:101-105 (TLB) I have refused to walk the paths of evil, for I will remain obedient to your Word. No, I haven’t turned away from what you taught me; your words are sweeter than honey. And since only your rules can give me wisdom and understanding, no wonder I hate every false teaching. Your words are a flashlight to light the path ahead of me and keep me from stumbling.

James 1:2-8 (TLB) Dear brothers, is your life full of difficulties and temptations? Then be happy, for when the way is rough, your patience has a chance to grow. So let it grow, and don’t try to squirm out of your problems. For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete. If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it. But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind; and every decision you then make will be uncertain, as you turn first this way and then that. If you don’t ask with faith, don’t expect the Lord to give you any solid answer.
