By Design
By design: according to plan: by intention: deliberately.
I write and minister a lot about the Secret Place, drawing closer to Jesus and studying and acting upon God's Word. That's absolutely necessary for our spiritual survival, growth and productivity. The problem comes when we stop there. We can become so comfortable in our relationship with Him that we forget this is all for a greater purpose...though He loves us with the greatest love...this Christian life isn't just about us... There's a world that desperately needs Jesus. Our time with Him equips us to do His will. Yes, He loves to hear the praises of His Bride, and He enjoys the intimate time we spend with Him, but we must break out of our comfort zone into the life He's prepared for us. He has a specific plan designed for each of us and YOU are not exempt. Life lived outside of our calling is so empty and unfulfilling. Find your identity in His Word and let it be cultivated in His presence. As you begin to realize your position in His Kingdom and you discover the power and authority you've been given, your faith will be ignited, and you'll want to see it activated in the lives of others! You are a representative of Christ to a broken and desperate world. Within you is everything they are searching for and all of the answers they need. Don't hoard it, share the gospel with the lost, pray for the sick and hurting, bring deliverance to the captives and most of all, share His incredible love, as you reflect Him to the world. They are searching and you have what they need! Live your life by design! Luke 4:18 (KJV) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised."
2 Corinthians 5:20 (TPT) We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So we tenderly plead with you on Christ’s behalf, “Turn back to God and be reconciled to him.”
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV) But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
