Breaking Through Walls of Limitation

In my time in the Secret Place tonight, I share my heart with the Lord. Oh, how I want to be used in a greater capacity for His Kingdom's sake! I'm not asking that He uses my strengths, abilities, or talents. What I want is to completely move aside and allow His Spirit to have His way in my heart, life and ministry. There's nothing worse than going through the moves of ministry without the anointing. It's dead religion with no power to effectively change a life!

In Exodus, God tells Moses that He will go with Him, and his response was, "If you don't go with us, we aren't going!"

That must be our heart for serving God! We'll do whatever you want, but we refuse to do it without you! It must all be by His strength, saturated with His presence, bathed in His love and filled with His Spirit. We must operate in both the authority and power that's been given to us!

I've written many messages about being spiritually dissatisfied and hungry for more. This past week there's been a breakthrough! You see, doing the same thing I was always doing was no longer bringing the same results. When the Lord is requiring more from us, He backs away just enough to stir desperation in our souls that causes us to chase passionately after Him. I've been so hungry for more of His presence...

I've been pressing in for quite a while now, the chasm has been closed and Heaven opened!!! My time with the Lord is nothing short of glorious and His glory strips us of everything that doesn't reflect Him! Don't get me wrong, I have a long way to go, but the presence I've been experiencing is so worth the stripping away of the flesh and the months of chasing after Him! I cry, laugh, travail, worship and intercede as I am so close to Jesus that I can feel His very breath on my face!!! It's too incredible to describe, too wonderful to imagine!

You may get frustrated as you seek to draw closer to the Lord and desire to do more for His Kingdom. Often people feel rejected because they are not experiencing His presence and being used as others. God doesn't show favoritism. What He'll do for me, He'll certainly do for you.

Prioritize time to read the Word, pray and most of all, worship Him! Spend time with Him for no other reason than to just bless Him and one day... He burst through your box of limitations and blow your mind!!! He's just waiting for you to get serious about your relationship with Him! By the way... He wants it even more than you do!

Ministry opportunities?? Finding your destiny?? Operating in the power and authority that's been provided for you? It will all flow from this place right here...His presence will lead you to the center of His will and you will be anointed to do what He calls you to do!! DON'T GIVE UP!!

Exodus 33:14-15 (NKJV) And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here."

James 4:8 (NLT) Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. Luke 9:1 (NLT) One day Jesus called together his twelve disciples and gave them power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases. Philippians 2:12-13 (MSG) What I’m getting at, friends, is that you should simply keep on doing what you’ve done from the beginning. When I was living among you, you lived in responsive obedience. Now that I’m separated from you, keep it up. Better yet, redouble your efforts. Be energetic in your life of salvation, reverent and sensitive before God. That energy is God’s energy, an energy deep within you, God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure.
