It's Time to Fight!
In my prayer time tonight, the Lord began to show me how fearful and paralyzed the church has become. They complain about the current situation of the world without any thought to the power and authority over the forces of evil they have been given. Complaining only fuels the power of the enemy. What God is calling us to is a battle that can only be won on our knees.
We need to turn the tide on the enemy! He is currently getting the upper hand as he is terrorizing the world with sickness, diseases, racial injustice, prejudism, the threat of war, depression and fear of the future. In this season, many have felt backed into a corner and because of that, way too much territory has been surrendered.
It's time to fight back church! It's time to intercede like never before! Yes, there's a lot of evil out there, but don't forget who is ALL powerful! Jesus trampled on the enemy as He rose from the dead! He won the war of good and evil and shared that victory with us as He gave us authority over EVERY power of the enemy and ALL sickness and disease!
This devotion is a reminder that you have a responsibility to use that authority against the evil that threatens the future of the Church, our country and planet! The enemy may be doing all he can to change life as we know it, spread hatred and kill as many people as possible by infecting them with a disease, but WE DON'T HAVE TO TAKE IT!
Begin to combat the forces of evil by quoting scripture, praying and rebuking the effects of its manipulation in the NAME OF JESUS! The name that is above EVERY NAME!! Whether you believe what's going on in the world is manipulated by man or nature, there's a force that's controlling it and it must be stopped by the Spirit that's within you!
Let's quit being complacent in the battle and position ourselves to spiritually win the war!
Mark 16:17-18 (ESV) And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Elijah 5:17 (MSG) Elijah, for instance, human just like us, prayed hard that it wouldn't rain, and it didn't - not a drop for three and a half years.
Luke 9:1 (ESV) And He called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases.

Matthew 16:19 (ESV) I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Luke 10:19 (ESV) Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
James 4:7 (ESV) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
