Perfect Peace in the Journey
There are so many decisions to be made in life, that we can get quite confused and fearful of missing it. At least for me, that's the most frightening thing...to miss God's lead and end up doing my own thing. I've been there, and no matter how good it looks, it's certainly not where I want to be.
It's so amazing to me that I can become totally stressed out about the future and which path I'm to take, but as I stop trying to figure it all out and just get before God, share my heart and fears and cry out to Him in total surrender to His will... I'm surrounded by His love and absolutely engulfed in peace. Nothing has changed, yet as we lay our concerns at the foot of the cross and sincerely desire His will above our own, we have nothing to fear.
The road to our destiny may not always look the way we thought it would and where He's leading may not even be in the direction we thought it would go, but as we give up our plans, desires and will, we can trust that He will get us there and keep us in perfect peace in the journey.
Big decisions, stressful circumstances and fear? There’s a solution to that problem…crawl deep under the shadow of His wings. Your peace can be found there and the answers will soon follow, but while you are waiting…breathe in His strength and goodness. He is a good father that has a specific path He is leading you on. Seek Him and trust Him in the process. It's His desire to get you there!
Psalm 17:6-8 (TPT) You will answer me, God; I know you always will, like you always do as you listen with love to my every prayer. Magnify the marvels of your mercy to all who seek you. Make your Pure One wonderful to me, like you do for all those who turn aside to hide themselves in you. Protect me from harm; keep an eye on me like you would a child reflected in the twinkling of your eye.Yes, hide me within the shelter of your embrace, under your outstretched wings.
Isaiah 26:3-4 (TLB) You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.
