Don't Stay Stuck in the Trial!
My daughter Tiffiny posted this 3 years ago, after their belongings were all stolen out of a storage area on their new property. They were just moving in and the joy of their new place quickly turned to the pain of being violated.
She wrote this soon after. Three years later they are living their dream in a beautiful home in a wonderful community in Florida! What God has done in that short time is beyond their wildest dreams! I'm not even sure if they would have every thought of leaving Iowa and moving to Florida had it not been for a series of events that prepared them for the move.
It's funny, but we see such a small part of the full picture that we have the potential to remain stuck in the trial. The enemy can convince us that the current situation will define the rest of our lives, but in truth, it's our response that makes or breaks us.
They had a choice to make as they saw what was left of their things ransacked and destroyed. Wallow in self pitty and fear or run to Jesus for comfort and peace, trusting that the outcome would be worth the temporary pain. The bigger the test... the greater the testimony!
Whatever you're going through today, stay focused on Jesus and never doubt His goodness! If you'll continue to worship Him through your trial you will come out with an amazing testimony of His goodness and love!!
What may seem like rock bottom today, may just be the launching pad God uses to bring about your greatest blessing! Trust Him! This tiny speck on the map of your life is just passing by. Fearlessly face it head on because the one who lives inside of you is greater than the attack coming against you! What the enemy sends for your destruction will backfire as God uses it to draw you closer to His heart, strengthen you and build your faith in Him!
It's not over! The best is yet to come!!
Romans 8:28 (KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
1 John 4:4 (NKJV) You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
1 Corinthians 2:9 (NLT) That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.”
Philippians 1:6 (NLT) And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
Romans 5:3-5 (NLT) We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.
