The Testing of Your Faith

Your faith will be tested. There will be seasons that you feel like all hell is breaking loose against you. Though this can be very difficult in the natural, God uses it to reveal what's really on the inside of us. It's easy to reflect His nature when things are going well, but your true character, strengths and weaknesses are revealed when pressure is applied. Then you'll realize just how much you need to press into Jesus and rely on His unlimited strength and ability to get through.

His desire is to bring about growth and stability to our lives. Have you ever been around adults who have always been pampered? When opposition comes against them, they completely fall apart. They were never given the tools to help them cope with problems. God's not looking to raise spoiled brats, but strong and powerful warriors, who have the ability to combat and defeat the enemy on every level!

He doesn't bring difficulties to destroy you. He uses them to mold you into a person who is full of faith and no longer moved by circumstances. One who will hold on to the promises of God with tenacity, trust Him no matter what they see or experience and thrive in the midst of the storm! A person who is strong, powerful and unintimidated by the enemy!!

Don't run from the trial, but run to Jesus so that nothing you are going through will be wasted. It will all be used for your growth and the perfecting of your faith! Then trust Him with the outcome!

1 Corinthians 10:13 (TPT) We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously.

Psalm 27:14 (NKJV) Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

James 1:1-4 (NKJV) My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

James 1:6-8 (NKJV) But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Joshua 1:9 (NLT) This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
