You are an Heir!
Ephesians 6:10-11 (TLB) Last of all I want to remind you that your strength must come from the Lord’s mighty power within you. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand safe against all strategies and tricks of Satan.
God has given you power and authority. Many believers often feel defeated and overpowered by the enemy because they don't know that they have power within them. God's strength is enough strength to enable all of His children to fight against the lies and temptations of the devil. Have you ever seen a movie where the main character was poor and defeated and down the road they find out they are in a royalty bloodline and they are next in line to be a princess or a ruler? What happened? They didn't change who they were, they were always royalty. They just didn't know it. Once they became aware of who they were in their family, they began to walk different and talk different. They had a new spring in their step because they realized they have power and authority.
It is the same way with Christians. We are heirs to the Kingdom of God and Jesus has given us all power and authority over the enemy. We are victorious in Christ! Just as some kings have to go to war to keep their kingdom safe, we too have to fight a spiritual battle and stand up for what is rightfully ours. Christianity is not a weak religion - Christianity is a relationship with Jesus - the one who was raised from the grave - the one who is the lion and the lamb, the beginning and the end, our savior, our healer, our rock, our cornerstone, our King of kings and Lord of lords. There are not enough words to describe His faithfulness and His goodness. We are to be a fierce and uncompromising body of believers who stand up for our beliefs, knowing God is with us and no weapon formed against us shall prosper!
It's a new season for Christians, we are in a war against the enemy and we have been equipped with the Word of God as our sword. We are to wear our helmet of salvation to protect our minds against the lies of the enemy. Take a stand and fight back for what has been stolen. Allow the Holy Spirit to enable you to speak with boldness and authority for you are the righteousness of Christ! You are full of the Spirit of God - it's time to wake up and use what has been given to us and walk in victory!
2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP) For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].
2 Peter 1:3 (TPT) Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion[a] to God has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness.
Luke 10:19 (TLB) And I have given you authority over all the power of the Enemy, and to walk among serpents and scorpions and to crush them. Nothing shall injure you!
