Walking in Your Calling

Colossians 3:15 (AMP) Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always].

When we are walking in our calling and doing the will of the Father, we should be walking in peace daily knowing that we are pleasing Him. This is often easier said than done. The enemy cannot stand it when we are walking in love and obedience to Christ so he will continue to put distractions in our way trying to get us off course. He is very patient and a good liar, in fact, that’s all he knows how to do, is lie. Thank God that we have His Word to stand on and we are confident in His Truth! This is where the peace of Christ is able to control our hearts and settle the questions of doubt from the enemy. May the peace of God completely surround you today, may your heart be filled with an everlasting joy, may you be strong and bold in the faith remembering that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Choose to walk in peace each day as you are given another opportunity to serve God with all your heart, mind and soul. Continue diligently working with eternity in mind, keeping Jesus at the center of all you do.

2 Thessalonians 2:14 (TPT) To this end he handpicked you for salvation through the gospel so that you would have the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:9 (NLT) God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Isaiah 54:17 (AMP) “No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And this is their vindication from Me,” says the Lord.
