Make Your Journey Count
Psalm 5:3 (NLT) Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.
Each morning brings new challenges along with new mercies. I am so thankful that God grants us the opportunity to come to Him each day with our requests and we can wait with expectancy. No matter what challenges we are facing, we are given a grace to fulfill the call on our lives. As we continue serving God with our giftings, trusting Him in the unknown, and pursuing all He places in our hearts, we allow opportunities for the miraculous to take place. As we listen to His voice and follow His promptings we become an unstoppable force in the spiritual war we battle. Thankfully we don’t have to fear as we move forward sharing Christ and loving people, Jesus left us the gift of peace, so we may continue our race with joy till the end.
John 14:27 (NLT) “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
Psalm 16:11 (AMPC) You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
In Christ we are courageous, powerful, and disciplined - knowing when to move forward and when to wait. We have control of our thoughts, we choose to think like God thinks and say no to the lies of the enemy. As we say yes to God more and no to the things of the world, our spiritual growth will be so deep and we will be more in tune to the voice of God that we will absolutely be the vessels God uses for the last days. Our future depends on the now - what we choose to do with what we have already been given. Let's make our journey count for Christ and pull people from the darkness to the light.
2 Timothy 1:7 (AMPC) For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.
2 Timothy 2:21b-22 (TPT) Your life and ministry must not be disgraced, for you are to be a pure container of Christ and dedicated to the honorable purposes of your Master, prepared for every good work that he gives you to do. Run as fast as you can from all the ambitions and lusts of youth; and chase after all that is pure. Whatever builds up your faith and deepens your love must become your holy pursuit. And live in peace with all those who worship our Lord Jesus with pure hearts.
