More Than a Conqueror

We all know how it feels to go through seasons of relentless attacks. It may be against your health, emotions, relationships, finances or family. At times it's a combination of all of the above and then some.

As I came home tonight, pain from head to toe, tired and a bit frustrated, it's obvious to me that these attacks are a direct hit from the enemy's camp. Let's get real for a minute, I understand how we as humans feel in this moment... don't we deserve rest and relaxation? The urge to pamper ourselves and put our needs before any other is real and powerful.

Perhaps the temptation is to be busy fixing the problems he's created or worrying about the possible outcome. The next thing you know, the day has ended and we just couldn't fit in any time for Jesus...we must realize that is the result the enemy intended to have. He tries to keep our attention away from God by creating constant distractions and diversions, so that he can control our attention and emotions. The only way to break this destructive cycle is to allow every attack you experience to chase you into the arms of Jesus and fuel your passion, desperation, faith and fight!

It's not about begging God to get us out of this mess, but finding our strength and authority in the relationship we have with Him, and using His Word to defeat the enemy at every level!

He's a defeated foe! Yes, we feel the pain of the battle and sometimes it runs deep, but we serve a God who heals EVERY wound. He gave us power and authority over EVERY sickness and disease and EVERY power of the enemy! YOU ARE NOT A BEGGAR YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR! Do not retreat or hide from the battle! March forward, confident, fully equipped and arrayed in God's armor. THE VICTORY IS YOURS AND ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD!

Galatians 4:7 (NKJV) Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Ephesians 6:10-13 (NLT) A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.

Luke 10:19 (NKJV) Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Luke 9:1-2 (NKJV) Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Romans 8:37-39 (NKJV) Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
