Limitless Potential
So often we limit our potential by basing it on our own strengths. God may ask you to do something that you view as impossible...especially for you. We serve a God who is limitless in His power and abilities. We have His Spirit that abides within us and the promises of His Word. He says we have the ability to do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us, yet at times His voice of encouragement sounds like a whisper compared to the screams of the enemy that are compounded by our insecurities.
If we are going to make an impact for God's Kingdom and walk in obedience to what He's called us to do, we must stop relying on the possible and begin trusting Him for the impossible. I'm not just talking about ministry here. Perhaps the impact He desires to make through you is in business. The Gospel takes money to spread and there are those that He is equipping to step out in areas that will financially bless the forward movement of His Kingdom. Perhaps there's inventions or creative ideas He wants you to produce to bless others. Is there a book that needs to be written through you? A song that will usher His bride into His throne room? God can use us in an infinite amount of ways, but we must be close enough to hear and recognize His voice and have the faith to believe He can produce something amazing through us. When He does, it's imperative that we be humble enough to forgo any of the credit and give Him all of the glory!
He has a plan for your life that only you can fulfill... the enemy will do all he can to cause you to stray away from and even forfeit your destiny. Don't allow fear and insecurity to divert you from the amazing plan God has for your life! He will complete the work He's begun in you, just trust Him and keep moving forward in what He's leading you to do. The doors will open at the appropriate time, just keep growing, preparing, praying, trusting, studying and worshiping while you wait.
2 Corinthians 4:7 (KJV) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 1:6 (NKJV) Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV) So He answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.
