God is with You

Isaiah 43:2 (AMP) When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.

Do you ever have times in your life when you feel like you are drowning in responsibilities, paperwork, chores, events, or to-do lists? What about when you are going through a rough trial and you feel like the entire world is coming against you or bad reports are coming in left and right and you feel alone?

This verse shares some amazing promises that we can stand on when faced with adversity. When we are going through the rivers of doubt or tidal waves of work, God is with us and these things do not have to overwhelm us. We must choose to put our trust in Him and rely on Him to get us through the difficulties.

When everyone you know if coming against you or if you are falsely accused of something that the enemy is using to get you off course, God promises that we will not be scorched or burned! How awesome is that?! When we put our trust and faith in Jesus rather than our own abilities to get out of a mess, we are granted peace through the storm and grace to get through the hard times. Even when things around us look bad, there will be a calmness on the inside that is worth far more than anything this world has to offer. So when life is throwing you a curve ball take some time to share your worries with Christ and pray for the Holy Spirit to cover you with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

Isaiah 41:10 (NLT) Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
