Don't Keep Him Waiting
Psalm 73:24-28 (TPT) You lead me with your secret wisdom. And following you brings me into your brightness and glory! Whom have I in heaven but you? You’re all I want! No one on earth means as much to me as you. Lord, so many times I fail; I fall into disgrace. But when I trust in you, I have a strong and glorious presence protecting and anointing me. Forever you’re all I need! Those who abandon the worship of God will perish. The false and unfaithful will be silenced, never heard from again. But I’ll keep coming closer and closer to you, Lord Yahweh, for your name is good to me. I’ll keep telling the world of your awesome works, my faithful and glorious God!
Don't you desire to come closer and closer to Jesus? I mean who else is going to bless you so much by their presence and their love? Being around friends and family that you thoroughly enjoy is a wonderful feeling but they cannot give you the type of love that only comes from our Heavenly Father. He will lead you and protect you and anoint you. As you fully trust in the One who cannot lie and cannot fail you, you will begin to yearn for more and more and more of Him.
The name of Jesus is good to us - it is the name above ALL other names - cancer, fear, pain, anxiety, worry, and even death! Why wouldn't you want to share this name with everyone? You likely share pictures of what you eat for lunch on Facebook which has no eternal value, yet sharing Jesus will bring forth salvation, healing, deliverance, freedom, peace and joy with those who are desperately hurting, and many hurt in secret.
Psalm 105:1 (TPT) Go ahead and give God thanks for all the glorious things he has done! Go ahead and worship him! Tell everyone about his wonders!
Isaiah 45:22-23 (NLT) Let all the world look to me for salvation! For I am God; there is no other. I have sworn by my own name; I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on my word.
Galatians 5:1 (NLT) So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.
God wants to let you in on His secrets, His plans, His ways for you but you must take the time to shut the door and get quiet before Him. You cannot hear a secret with a TV on, a phone in hand, and multiple conversations happening around you. To hear that whisper you have to get alone and quiet. It's just about making the time to show up and wait upon the Lord. He is already in the secret place, He is just waiting for you… don't keep Him waiting friend, arrive to your appointment early and stay late, you will never regret spending time with Jesus - the One who died for you to set you absolutely free from bondage to sin and grants you eternity with Him in Heaven. Seek the face of Jesus!
