Move Forward
1 Peter 1:24 (AMP) For all flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever.
Have you ever met someone who was living life stuck in their past? They want to relive their "glory days." They want to remember the pain that someone caused them 15 years ago and continue reliving the drama. I don't even want to be around someone who keeps talking about the troubles of their past and even sometimes the ones who just talk about how great life used to be can make me insane. God is not dead! No matter what generation we are living in, His Word endures forever. We can choose to enjoy our life, it will begin with a change in our thoughts which will then change our attitude and perspective. Our lives are changing, our appearances are always changing, we will not look like we did at 20 when we are 60. Life happens; it is up to us to see the beauty in all God is doing throughout the earth and choose to be a part of it.
Misery is an option; joy is an option; following Christ is an option. What are you choosing today? No matter what happens in life, God is still a good God. His love endures forever; His Word is always true. Stay faithful to God and see all He wants to use you for. He is doing a new thing all the time and He wants you to be a part of it. Will you jump into the new and take a leap of faith with Christ? Or will you choose to remain living in the old and be stuck in "what used to be" or "what could have been?" Recommit your ways to Him and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, He will never let you down! It is impossible to be disappointed by God's plans.
Isaiah 43:19 (NLT) For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
